Welcome to the web site for the Central Plains Geriatric Education Center at the University of Kansas Medical Center. While the CPGEC engages in a number of activities dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare provided to older adult populations in our region it is probably best known for its continuing education programs for interdisciplinary audiences of practicing healthcare and human service professionals that originate on our campus in Kansas City and are delivered simultaneously to sites across the region through the use of interactive televideo (ITV) and other distance learning technologies.
