Interactive Televideo

The Central Plains GEC realizes the need for continuing education for healthcare professional throughout rural communities nationwide.  For that reason, we broadcast many of our programs via ITV (Interactive Tele-video).  An ITV broadcast lets you do more than merely listen to a lecture.  It allows two way real-time video and audio communications between participants at multiple locations.   For example, participants in Dodge City, Pittsburg and Hays Kansas can see, hear and participate in our continuing education programs being broadcast live in Kansas City.

If your organization has ITV capabilities and would like to become part of our network, email Tanya Bishop at tbishop@kumc.edu to set up a test.  Once a test is complete, a packet of information will be sent to you.
