The Hospice and Palliative Care Lecture Series
The Hospice and Palliative Care Lecture Series is a collaborative effort among Palliative Medicine at KUMC, Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care, the KU‐KCHPC Palliative Care Fellowship Program, the Central Plains Geriatric Education Center, the Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth at KUMC and KUMC’s Area Health Education Centers. Each Thursday the program includes two lectures. The first from 8 to 9 a.m. central time and the second from 9 to 10 a.m. central time. The programs are broadcast by Interactive Televideo (ITV) to sites across the region. This allows two way real‐time video and audio communications between participants at multiple locations and the speakers. Additionally the lectures are webcast using a web‐based conferencing system enabling you to see the presenter’s slides and hear the lecture. You can interact through text chat.
